KooDhong Innovation Ltd was established in 2000 it is a family business owned and by run Mike and Jude Newton.

We have combined Mike's skills as an engineer and CAD system operator and Jude's skills in accounting to create, what has become a highly
successful corporate and custom embroidery business.

In our early days our approach to marketing was to take an embroidery machine to local markets and run it in front of the public. To this end
we purchased a second hand catering trailer, and re-fitted it with a Barudan 15 needle, industrial embroidery machine, linked to a laptop running
TES II embroidery software.

Our ability to not only embroider, but to actually digitize customers own designs on site, proved very popular, often attracting large crowds and
the occasional round of applause for a job well done. Before long we found ourselves embroidering directly onto customers own garments!

We use Barudan Embroidery machines because of their robust build and unequalled reputation
for reliability and quality, backed up by over 40 years of experience in the embroidery field.

Barudan also supply what is now TES III embroidery software, which is a version of the award
winning EOS III software, adapted specifically for Barudan machinery by Compucon.

With Barudan and TES III we are confident we are giving the very best in embroidery quality.

The dragon on the right was one of the first designs that I digitized, the actual design measures
30 x 42 cm and has just over 120,000 stitches. We call him KooDhong and he is our company logo.

We now have a library of literally thousands of design's many of which are our own work.

Over the years KooDhong has become more of an internet based embroidery business, and by keeping our overheads low, we have found
that we can compete with the major embroidery businesses on an even keel.

We continue to take our mobile embroidery unit on the road over the spring, summer and autumn months, our 2007/8 calendar is continuously
being updated, and is already quite full. If you are looking for a unique stall for your show/event then let us know we would love to come!

Our 2007 online catalogue offers a wider choice of garments than in previous years with something to suit every budget - from Glenmuir, Jerzees
and Henbury through to Fruit of the Loom and new for 2007 Gildan - all excellent quality and many below R.R.P. even with embroidery!

Our corporate customers range from local businesses to multi-national companies to individuals wearing their own unique designs.

Clubs range from caving clubs through to Martial Arts and include Golf clubs (with two county teams), football and Rugby clubs, Cricket clubs,
Running clubs, Horse Riding clubs, many many Motorcycle clubs and many more!

Over the years we have established a reputation for speed, reliability and above all the quality of our finished product and we pride ourselves
on treating everyone with the same care and attention.

2007 also sees us moving to new premises and purchasing a brand new 4 head Barudan machine so all in all it's going to be another busy year!
